About the event

This is a beginner-level handbuilding class with 4 sessions over 5 weeks.

Class dates are May 11, 18, 25, June 8 from 6-9 pm. (No class week of June 1st for drying time).

Course Description

The goal of this class is to familiarize participants with some basic principles of hand-forming and surface decoration. Projects are geared towards beginner levels. Participants will  be using the basic forming methods of slab and coil, while surface decoration is integrated into these activities using underglazes and a low fire clear glaze. Focus of the class is on the process of learning and creativity. Use this short mini class of only  4 weeks to get a taste of how much you will fall in love with building and creating with clay! Clay and tools will be provided for your use.

Class size limited to 10 people.
