Naomi Wendorff

Naomi has always been interested in art and creativity. She loves to paint, use mixed media and create in a variety of ways. She started her ceramics journey here at the Oldman River Potters Guild by taking a handbuilding class. She has taken ceramics courses from various local and international teachers and loves to continue learning.

She received her Bachelor of Education at the University of Lethbridge and has always had a passion for teaching. She currently serves as the Oldman River Potters Guild President. She finds working with clay both meditative and challenging and loves the patience and perseverance that clay teaches her. She is excited to meet you and help you start or continue your journey working with clay.

Louise Cormier

Louise has been working with clay for over twenty years and continues to love every minute with this magical terra firma. Both sculptural and functional wares inspire her, so she creates both. Her body of work and philosophy of making can be found in the web links provided. One of Louise's favourite activities is teaching handbuilding. The possibilities are endless, and she learns as much from the students as they do from her!

Caylee Rothe

I'm Caylee from KRO Pottery, your go-to pottery gal straight outta Lethbridge! Growing up surrounded by the big skies and even bigger hearts of Alberta, I've always had a love for art, interior design, fashion, texture, and movement. My journey with clay started in 2010 at the Oldman River Potters Guild when I ended up taking four beginner wheel classes back to back. I met my best friend there, and we joined the Guild together. I started as a hand builder and now I'm a wheel thrower.
 

Teaching? It's my jam. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, I'm all about unlocking your inner pottery rockstar. We'll throw clay, crack jokes, and maybe even break a sweat (pottery's a workout, trust me!). My classes are more than just lessons; they're a vibe—a community of classmates who cheer each other on and celebrate every wonky mug and bowl, but no janky edges. #iykyk I thrive on sharing my knowledge and the joy of igniting that same spark of passion in other potters.
